Resident Manager

About the Position

A Resident Manager plays a key role in assisting the Property Manager. The Resident Manager facilitates the efficient operation of the community, communicates with their Property Manager to ensure proper maintenance of the apartments and encourages involvement in the apartment community by the residents.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Marketing
  • Leasing
  • Qualifying prospects
  • Collecting rents
  • Assisting current residents
  • Renewing leases
  • Maintaining files
  • Inspecting and reporting
  • Scheduling of vendors

The Resident Manager position is a Sales position. The ideal candidate knows how to determine the needs of every potential Resident, address those needs and find the right apartment home. This is also a Customer Service position and the candidate must be able to address the concerns of current Residents in a friendly and professional manner.
