Responsibilities
Patrick has led The Gaughan Companies as President and Owner since 1997. Responsible for the overall growth, vision and financial performance of the firm, Patrick’s primary responsibility is overseeing all facets of the companies operations to include Brokerage, Asset and Property Management, Construction, Facilities Maintenance and Development. Patrick began his real estate career in 1980 at the age of 10, sweeping floors and cleaning construction debris in the properties his father developed. Since that time he has held positions in all areas of the firm to include construction laborer, accounting manager, property manager, construction project manager, assistant vice president and real estate broker. A full service real estate company serving clients throughout the Twin Cities Metro Area, he oversees a diversified real estate portfolio for both internal and external clients.

History of Success
As President of Gaughan Companies, Patrick has guided the firm through 14 straight years of growth and has built a company that is home to over 100 employee team members. He has successfully planned, developed and acquired buildings comprising in excess of 1,000,000 sq. ft. of office, industrial and retail space, and provides full service property management to over 1,800 residential units in the Twin Cities metro area. Patrick is a 1991 graduate of St. Mary’s University with a degree in Business Management. He is a member of both NAIOP and MNCAR and carries the CCIM designation from the Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute as well as a real estate broker's license in the State of Minnesota. Patrick is well-known in the North Metro business community for his success in real estate development and his devotion to civic and charitable causes. Mr. Gaughan served as a trustee of St. Agnes Parish and School and was a board member of the North Metro Chamber. In 2010, Gaughan Companies was named number eleven on the Top 25 List of Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Firms and in 2011 Gaughan Companies was named number fourteen.
